Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and operational efficiency
- Manage materials planning and ensure timely availability of resources for production needs
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable terms
- Monitor vendor performance and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and plan procurement schedules
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and regulatory requirements
- Generate reports and analyze procurement data to identify improvement opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles
- Proven experience in materials planning and vendor management within manufacturing or logistics sectors
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to interact with suppliers and internal teams
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of local procurement regulations and best practices in Singapore
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
