Job Description

StarDream Cruises is seeking a proactive Assistant Manager - Revenue Management to join our Malaysia-based team. In this role, you will drive revenue growth by optimizing pricing, inventory, and occupancy across our cruise fleet. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to translate market insights into action, ensuring maximum yield and exceptional guest value through every voyage.

As part of the Revenue Management and Commercial teams, you will analyze booking patterns, monitor demand trends, and deliver accurate forecasts, dashboards, and performance reports. You will champion data-driven decision making, balancing competitive pricing with premium service offerings, and help steer pricing strategy for cabins, suites, and onboard ancillaries. Your work will directly impact occupancy, revenue per passenger, and overall fleet profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze booking patterns, occupancy, and pricing trends to maximize revenue and optimize cabin inventory.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Management teams to develop and execute dynamic pricing strategies across distribution channels.
  • Build, maintain, and explain forecasting models, dashboards, and daily/weekly/monthly revenue reports for leadership.
  • Manage cabin inventory, rate fences, discounting policies, and distribution channel controls to optimize yield.
  • Identify opportunities for upsell, cross-sell, promotions, and seasonal campaigns to improve revenue per passenger.
  • Partner with Finance and Operations to ensure revenue accuracy, budgeting alignment, and adherence to financial controls.
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts; lead ad-hoc analyses and projects as a contributing member of the revenue team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in revenue management, pricing, or analytics; hospitality or cruise industry preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, Power Query) and data visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI).
  • Experience with revenue management systems, RMS, OTA platforms, and ideally SQL knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to present insights to cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving, time management, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
