Capital Dynamics is a leading player in the Banking & Financial Services sector, operating as a dynamic fund management and investment group. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be instrumental in shaping the company's operational strategy and ensuring seamless execution across all functions.
As the COO, you will oversee the dayâtoâday operations, streamline administrative processes, and drive performance improvements. You will work closely with senior leadership to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans, optimize resource allocation, and maintain robust internal controls. In addition, you will act as a key liaison with regulators, investors, and external partners, ensuring compliance with Malaysiaâs financial regulatory framework.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the companyâs business objectives and growth plans.
- Lead crossâfunctional teams to drive process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost optimization across the organization.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring, ensuring accurate reporting and variance analysis.
- Manage relationships with external partners, regulators, and key stakeholders, acting as a primary point of contact for operational matters.
- Ensure robust risk management and compliance frameworks are in place, continuously updating policies to reflect regulatory changes.
- Coordinate mergers, acquisitions, and integration activities, identifying synergies and executing seamless transitions.
- Drive innovation and digital transformation initiatives, leveraging technology to enhance operational agility.
- Support the CEO in strategic decisionâmaking and board reporting, providing dataâdriven insights and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Proven senior leadership experience in financial services, fund management, or a similar highâgrowth environment.
- Strong background in operational management, process optimization, and performance measurement.
- Demonstrated ability to manage largeâscale budgets, financial reporting, and investor relations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the capacity to influence at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of delivering measurable results and driving organizational change.
- Masterâs degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline (MBA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent is a plus).
- Inâdepth familiarity with Malaysian regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the banking and financial sector.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in dataâdriven decision making, using advanced Excel, PowerBI, or similar tools.
