Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Department in developing and executing strategies to drive profitable growth within the Health Insurance segment.
- Monitor and analyze segment financial performance, providing actionable insights to optimize profitability.
- Assist in the product development process, from market research to pricing strategy and launch.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Underwriting, Claims, and Sales to ensure seamless operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular competitive benchmarking to identify gaps and opportunities in the local healthcare insurance landscape.
- Manage monthly and quarterly performance reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with corporate standards.
- Support the implementation of strategic projects aimed at digitizing and enhancing customer experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Actuarial Science, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the insurance industry, with specific focus on Health Insurance or Profit Centre management.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Deep understanding of the Singaporean healthcare insurance market and regulatory environment.
- Proven ability to support senior management in complex strategic decision-making.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
