Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share in the instrumentation sector.
- Provide expert technical pre-sales support and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and post-sale account management.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate client requirements into customized technical solutions.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and budget proposals for senior management.
- Maintain deep product knowledge and keep abreast of competitive landscape and industry trends.
- Mentor junior sales staff and contribute to team-wide sales initiatives.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation preferred).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in technical sales, specifically within the instrumentation or industrial automation field.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical decision-makers.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems and provide innovative technical recommendations.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel occasionally to client sites within the region.
