Responsibilities
- Oversee daily new business administration activities, ensuring timely processing and high accuracy levels.
- Provide direct leadership and mentorship to the underwriting support team to foster professional growth and performance.
- Maintain strict compliance with internal underwriting guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and analyze team productivity metrics, implementing process improvements where necessary to enhance workflow efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex underwriting queries and facilitate smooth policy issuance.
- Conduct regular quality audits to ensure service standards and data integrity are consistently met.
- Support management in reporting and presenting operational updates to senior stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in life insurance underwriting support or operations.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing and motivating a high-performing team.
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies, regulatory compliance frameworks, and underwriting protocols in Singapore.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and insurance administrative software.
- Strong communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
