Responsibilities
- Assist the Production Manager in overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure production schedules and targets are achieved.
- Lead and mentor production teams during the startup and ramping phases of new production lines.
- Monitor and analyze production performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality control departments to streamline assembly processes and reduce waste.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, company policies, and ISO quality standards across the shop floor.
- Manage resource allocation, including manpower and raw material requirements, to optimize operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide technical training to floor staff to enhance overall team competency.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a production or operations role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of success in manufacturing startups or high-volume production ramping environments.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or 5S methodologies.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
- Proficiency in ERP software and MS Office Suite.
