Join Spark Hunts Resources as an Assistant Sales Manager in the Trailer and Sidelifter Division. This hands-on, high-impact role focuses on business development, lead generation, and closing high-value deals within the Sabah market. You will identify opportunities, cultivate relationships with fleet operators, distributors, and end-users, and drive revenue growth by offering tailored trailer and sidelifter solutions that minimize downtime and maximize uptime.
In this role you will own the full sales cycle—qualifying prospects, delivering compelling proposals, negotiating terms, and closing contracts. You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to map customer needs to the right equipment, provide accurate forecasting, and maintain an accurate CRM pipeline. A proactive approach, strong communication, and a customer-centric mindset are essential to succeed in a competitive market.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue within the Sabah territory for the Trailer and Sidelifter division.
- Generate and qualify new leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and targeted campaigns; maintain an active pipeline in the CRM.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet operators, dealers, distributors, and end-users to drive repeat business.
- Prepare and deliver customized proposals, quotes, and product demonstrations; tailor solutions to customers' operational requirements.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and service level agreements; close deals and achieve or exceed monthly/quarterly targets.
- Coordinate with engineering and after-sales teams to ensure smooth delivery, installation, and commissioning.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasting and CRM records; monitor key performance indicators and provide regular reporting to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in industrial equipment, trailers, or material handling equipment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and closing deals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; ability to influence at multiple levels.
- Ability to travel within Sabah and adjacent regions as required.
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office; strong data-driven selling skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a target-driven environment.
