Spark Hunts Resources is a reputable provider of trailers and sidelifters, serving the logistics industry in Malaysia. We are currently looking for an Assistant Sales Manager to join our Trailer / Sidelifter Division and lead sales efforts in the Sarawak region.
This is a hands-on role that combines business development, lead generation, and deal closing. You will be responsible for expanding our customer base, maintaining relationships, and achieving aggressive sales targets. Your deep understanding of the trailer and sidelifter market will help you provide expert advice to clients.
Key duties include prospecting new accounts, conducting product demonstrations, negotiating contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will work autonomously but also coordinate with our support team to deliver seamless service.
We offer a competitive compensation package including a base salary of RM 4,500 – RM 6,500 per month, performance bonuses, and opportunities for professional growth. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of sales experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for the industry.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in assigned territories.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive lead generation and networking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase trailer and sidelifter solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet monthly and quarterly sales goals.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to provide insights for business growth.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in trailer, sidelifter, or heavy equipment industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel within Sarawak and occasionally to other regions.
- Valid driver's license and own transport.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.
