Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate daily operations at the United Garden branch to ensure maximum productivity.
  • Manage staff scheduling, performance monitoring, and on-the-job training for junior team members.
  • Ensure strict compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety regulations, and cleanliness standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage stock replenishment, and conduct regular audits to minimize shrinkage.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare daily and weekly operational reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with the logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and distribution of goods.
  • Implement cost-control measures and optimize resource allocation to meet branch KPIs.

Qualifications

  • Possess at least a Diploma or Professional Degree in Business Management, Logistics, or a related field; SPM holders with significant experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of supervisory experience in retail, logistics, or a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage and inspire a team of 10+ employees.
  • Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English; fluency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
  • Willingness to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by the retail schedule.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and basic Point of Sale (POS) or Inventory Management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
