Responsibilities
- Participate in a fully sponsored training curriculum covering cybersecurity fundamentals, threat analysis, and defensive strategies.
- Assist in monitoring security alerts, analysing logs, and escalating potential incidents to senior team members.
- Support vulnerability scanning and penetration testing exercises under supervision.
- Document security findings, create reports, and recommend remediation actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and best practices.
- Stay current with emerging threats, tools, and industry trends through continuous learning.
- Contribute to security awareness initiatives and internal training materials.
- Maintain a clean and secure lab environment for hands-on exercises.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in cybersecurity and information technology.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, OSI model, firewalls).
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows/Linux) and command-line interfaces.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
