Responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate production processes to ensure adherence to quality control standards and operational procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of products at various stages of the assembly line to identify defects or non-conformities.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) when quality issues arise.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of quality metrics, inspection reports, and process deviations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with international quality management systems and local safety regulations.
- Support the investigation of customer complaints or internal quality escalations to determine root causes.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Operations, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in quality control or operational quality within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, 5S, SPC, or Root Cause Analysis).
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and experience with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Effective communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia to collaborate across departments.
