Kenanga Investment Bank, one of Malaysia's leading independent investment banks, is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated professional to join our Global Markets Dealing Desk as an Associate / Senior Associate in Listed Derivatives.
In this critical front-office role, you will be the primary interface for executing trades, managing risk, and providing exceptional market access for our diverse client base. You will ensure trade accuracy, strict regulatory compliance, and contribute directly to the profitability and market integrity of the bank.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and manage client orders for listed derivatives across various global exchanges.
- Provide market intelligence, pricing, and trading strategies to institutional and retail clients.
- Monitor market trends, economic data, and geopolitical factors to manage risk exposure effectively.
- Adhere strictly to risk limits, compliance policies, and internal trading procedures.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with counterparties, brokers, and exchanges.
- Work closely with sales and research teams to structure bespoke derivative solutions.
- Contribute to the enhancement of trading systems, workflows, and operational efficiencies.
Responsibilities
- Execute and manage client orders for listed derivatives (futures, options) on Bursa Malaysia and regional exchanges.
- Provide accurate price quotations, market insights, and trade execution strategies to institutional and high-net-worth clients.
- Monitor global market movements, economic data releases, and geopolitical events to proactively manage risk exposure.
- Ensure strict adherence to trading limits, risk policies, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with key counterparties, brokers, and exchanges.
- Collaborate with research and sales teams to offer tailored derivative solutions to clients.
- Prepare daily trade reports, P&L analysis, and performance metrics for management review.
- Mentor junior dealers and support the continuous improvement of trading systems and operational workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in dealing Global Markets, with a strong focus on Listed Derivatives.
- Proven track record in executing derivatives trades (Futures & Options) on Bursa Malaysia and/or major global platforms.
- Comprehensive understanding of risk management principles, margin requirements, and settlement cycles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (mandatory).
- Strong analytical abilities and capacity to make rapid, informed decisions under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CMSRL, CFTe, or CFA) are highly advantageous.
- High level of integrity, self-motivation, and a genuine passion for the financial markets.
