Join the Provincial Government of Nueva Ecija as an Attorney II and contribute to the legal administration of the province. Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal counsel and advice to the Provincial Governor, Vice Governor, Sangguniang Panlalawigan, and department heads.
- Draft, review, and approve legal documents including contracts, memoranda, resolutions, ordinances, and deeds.
- Represent the government in court proceedings, administrative hearings, and litigation matters.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research to interpret laws, rules, and regulations relevant to local government operations.
- Review and analyze proposed legislation and administrative orders for legal validity and compliance.
- Assist in the formulation and implementation of legal policies and programs of the province.
- Provide legal opinions on matters concerning land ownership, taxation, and administrative law.
Qualifications
- Must be a member in good standing of the Philippine Bar.
- At least two (2) years of relevant legal experience, preferably in government or public administration.
- Possess a strong understanding of Civil Service rules and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in legal drafting and interpretation of laws.
- Ability to communicate effectively and negotiate complex legal issues.
- Must pass the appropriate Civil Service Commission (CSC) eligibility requirements for Attorney II.
