Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive legal strategies to support A.C.T Group’s business objectives and expansion plans.
  • Oversee the drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial contracts, NDAs, and service agreements to protect the company's interests.
  • Ensure strict compliance with local Philippine labor laws, business regulations, and international legal standards.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide actionable legal advice to senior management and board members.
  • Manage corporate governance matters, including board meetings, shareholder communications, and statutory filings.
  • Lead and mentor the legal team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Handle litigation and dispute resolution processes, working with external counsel when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Admitted to the Philippine Bar or equivalent legal qualification with strong standing.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in a corporate legal role, preferably within a multinational or fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record in contract management, compliance, and corporate law.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex legal scenarios.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
