As an Automation Tester, you will work hands-on with both new and existing APIs, conducting rigorous testing cycles to ensure they perform reliably under pressure. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API-based applications.
- Execute comprehensive test plans to identify system bottlenecks and performance issues.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to define test criteria and ensure seamless feature delivery.
- Analyze API documentation to create accurate test cases and validation scenarios.
- Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain intact after updates.
- Document defects and track them to resolution using industry-standard bug tracking tools.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our internal QA processes and automated testing frameworks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in manual or automated software testing.
- Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress).
- Strong understanding of API testing methodologies and tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured.
- Solid experience with at least one scripting language (Python, Java, or JavaScript).
- Familiarity with SQL for database validation and backend data testing.
- Proven ability to thrive in an on-site, collaborative team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
