You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to acquire new B2B clients, manage the entire sales pipeline from prospecting to closing, and build long-term partnerships with decision-makers in the local business community.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive B2B sales strategies to acquire new corporate clients in Penang and the northern region of Malaysia
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, to deal closure
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and procurement heads at target companies
  • Present and demonstrate Xtransfer's cross-border payment solutions, trade finance products, and foreign exchange services to prospective clients
  • Identify market opportunities and trends to expand the company's client base in the SME and enterprise segments
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets and KPIs
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns tailored to the local market
  • Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports using CRM tools

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of proven B2B sales experience, preferably in fintech, financial services, or cross-border trade
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong understanding of cross-border payment solutions, trade finance, or foreign exchange markets is highly advantageous
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English and Malay
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Experience selling to businesses in the manufacturing, technology, or trading sectors is a plus
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications
