Responsibilities
- Conduct and participate in thorough code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and improvements for backend services.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
- Optimize existing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and drive process improvements.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in back-end development, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages: Node.js, Java, Python, or Go.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Deep understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
