Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using PHP and Node.js.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to industry best practices.
- Manage database schema design and performance tuning for SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Participate in code reviews, technical brainstorming, and architectural decision-making.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software systems to ensure reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in backend development using PHP (Laravel/Symfony) and Node.js.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
- Experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Proficiency in version control systems, preferably Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a significant plus.
