Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing, and deploying high-performance backend services and APIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following industry best practices
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing systems for performance and reliability
- Support system monitoring and production deployment processes
- Document technical designs, processes, and operational procedures
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
- Basic proficiency in at least one backend language such as Java, Python, or Node.js
- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Demonstrated passion for learning new technologies and improving existing systems
