As a Bank Teller, you'll be the face of Metrobank, greeting customers with a warm smile and providing efficient, accurate service. You'll be responsible for handling cash transactions, resolving customer inquiries, and promoting our range of financial products and services. Responsibilities
- Provide efficient and accurate banking services to customers, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and check cashing
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure compliance with banking regulations and procedures
- Assist customers with account inquiries, resolve issues, and provide information about bank products and services
- Process loan payments and assist with basic loan documentation when needed
- Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift and prepare daily reports
- Cross-sell bank products and services based on customer needs and qualifications
- Participate in branch promotional activities and marketing campaigns
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation while adhering to security protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or college degree in any field; preference for graduates of business, finance, or related courses
- At least 6 months to 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a banking or financial services setting
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail with excellent cash handling skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and willingness to learn banking systems
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions
- Must be trustworthy, honest, and with no record of any criminal offense
