Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care activities to patients including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Carry out basic housekeeping activities to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient areas and wards
- Assist patients with mobility and positioning using proper techniques and equipment
- Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to nursing staff promptly
- Support the nursing team in preparing examination rooms and maintaining medical supplies
- Respond to patient calls and requests in a timely and courteous manner
- Follow established infection control protocols and safety procedures at all times
- Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality
Qualifications
- Minimum GCE 'N' Level or equivalent; prior healthcare certification is an advantage
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or healthcare setting is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English
- Ability to work well in a team and independently with minimal supervision
- Physically fit to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting tasks
- Compassionate personality with a genuine interest in patient care
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required
