ZHENGXI TECHNOLOGY SDN BHD, a leader in precision manufacturing, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bending Machine Operator to join our dynamic production team in Banting, Selangor. In this role, you will operate conventional bending machines to produce high-precision metal parts that meet exact engineering specifications. You will work closely with engineers and quality control to ensure every component is fabricated to the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate conventional bending machines (press brakes, roll benders, etc.) to fabricate metal parts according to engineering drawings and work orders.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and bending specifications to determine machine settings, tooling, and sequence of operations.
- Perform in-process inspections using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, protractors) to ensure parts meet tolerance and quality standards.
- Adjust machine parameters (angle, depth, speed) to achieve precise bends and correct any deviations during production.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored and accounted for.
- Perform routine maintenance on bending machines, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn tooling.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and meet production targets.
- Follow all safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to lockout/tagout procedures.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience operating conventional bending machines in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) symbols.
- Proficiency in using manual measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, angle gauges, tape measures).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot machine and production issues.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 kg, and handle repetitive bending tasks.
- Good communication skills in English or Malay; ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in metal fabrication or machining is a plus.
