Job Description

Lexmark International is seeking a high caliber Bid Manager to join our Cebu based team. This role sits at the core of the Lexmark Xerox bid engine, owning the end to end proposal response process from receipt of RFPs to final submission. You will craft winning strategies, coordinate inputs from multiple stakeholders, and ensure every proposal is accurate, compliant and customer focused. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining on site collaboration in Cebu with flexible remote work.

Your success depends on your ability to lead cross functional teams, manage schedules, and translate customer needs into compelling proposals that clearly articulate value. You will partner with Sales, Product, Pricing, Legal and Finance to assemble compelling content, optimize pricing models, and mitigate risk while maintaining governance through reviews and approvals. You will also mentor junior bid specialists and continuously improve processes with templates, playbooks and metrics to increase win rates.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end to end bid management lifecycle for complex customer proposals, from RFP/RFQ receipt through final submission.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Pricing, Legal, and Finance to gather input, validate requirements, and develop winning themes.
  • Develop compelling value propositions, win strategies, and pricing scenarios that align with customer needs and Lexmark capabilities.
  • Own bid calendars, monitor milestones, and manage risk, ensuring on time, accurate proposal delivery and governance reviews.
  • Create and maintain proposal templates, content repositories, and standard operating procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Coordinate and lead proposal reviews with executive sponsors, subject matter experts, and stakeholders, incorporating feedback into final documents.
  • Mentor and coach junior bid specialists, driving continuous improvement and best practices in bid management.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitive landscape and industry trends to strengthen proposals and differentiation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; MBA a plus.
  • 3-6+ years of bid/proposal management experience, preferably in technology or enterprise solutions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple bids concurrently in a fast paced, cross functional environment.
  • Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and problem solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes, RFP/RFQ requirements, and pricing strategies.
  • Proficiency with proposal management tools and CRM systems; advanced MS Office skills.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid (on site/remote) setup in Cebu, Philippines.
