As a Biomedical Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, calibration, and rigorous maintenance of a diverse array of medical devices. Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, routine inspections, and repairs on a wide variety of medical and laboratory equipment.
- Install and calibrate new medical hardware to ensure full compliance with manufacturer and safety standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues with diagnostic imaging, monitoring, and surgical equipment.
- Maintain accurate and detailed service records for all medical devices to ensure audit readiness.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to provide technical training and support on the proper use of equipment.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and coordinate with vendors for specialized technical support when necessary.
- Ensure all medical equipment adheres to established safety regulations and clinical health protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience working as a Biomedical Technician or in a similar medical instrumentation role.
- Strong knowledge of medical device safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to interpret complex technical manuals, blueprints, and schematic diagrams.
- Proficiency in using electronic testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel locally within the Minglanilla and Cebu area as needed for field service.
