Responsibilities
- Weigh, sort, and pack a variety of bread products (loaves, buns, rolls, pastries) into designated packaging materials.
- Inspect finished products for quality, freshness, and proper labeling, discarding or reporting any defects or inconsistencies.
- Operate and monitor packing machinery (e.g., wrapping machines, sealing equipment) ensuring smooth and efficient production flow.
- Maintain accurate daily production logs, including batch numbers, quantities packed, and waste records.
- Adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), and workplace safety guidelines.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the packing area, including regular sanitization of equipment and workspaces.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets and minimize downtime.
- Assist in inventory management by stacking packed goods on pallets and preparing them for shipment.
Qualifications
- Minimum PMR/SPM or any equivalent qualification; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Previous experience in food packaging, manufacturing, or a similar production environment is an added advantage.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling food products and operating packing tools.
- Strong commitment to personal hygiene and workplace cleanliness.
- Willingness to work in shifts (including weekends and public holidays if required) and overtime when necessary.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills to read labels, record counts, and follow written instructions.
- Team player with a positive attitude and ability to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia or English.
