Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of commercial property facilities to ensure seamless functionality.
- Manage and supervise on-site maintenance staff, security personnel, and cleaning crews.
- Ensure full compliance with local building regulations, safety standards, and fire protocols.
- Develop and manage annual facility budgets, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Liaise with tenants to address concerns, resolve service requests, and foster long-term professional relationships.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for repairs, facility upgrades, and maintenance projects.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify maintenance needs and maintain building aesthetics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Property Management, Facilities Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in building management or property operations.
- Strong understanding of local property laws, building maintenance systems, and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to facility maintenance.
- Proficient in MS Office and facility management software platforms.
- Effective communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
