Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of logistics operations, including freight forwarding, warehousing, and distribution processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
- Develop detailed business requirements, functional specifications, and process documentation for system enhancements and new initiatives
- Collaborate with operations teams and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable solutions
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and recommend corrective actions
- Support the implementation of 3PL technology solutions and ensure smooth transition to new systems and processes
- Prepare executive-level reports and presentations communicating analysis findings and strategic recommendations
- Liaise with external partners and vendors to coordinate logistics activities and resolve operational issues
- Continuously research industry best practices and emerging trends in third-party logistics to drive innovation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role within logistics, freight forwarding, or 3PL environment
- Proficient in data analysis tools and methodologies with strong Excel and SQL skills
- Experience with WMS, TMS, or ERP systems implementation and optimization
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision making
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management capabilities
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
