Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the freight forwarding and logistics market.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competitor activities.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales proposals and presentations.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery postāsale.
- Track sales activities and pipeline using CRM tools and provide regular performance reports.
- Participate in industry events and networking functions to enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2ā3 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within logistics or freight forwarding.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding operations, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a targetādriven environment.
- Bachelorās degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
