Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive lead generation and networking.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate and individual clients, ensuring high retention rates for general insurance products.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and provide expert advice on coverage such as motor, property, and commercial insurance.
- Prepare and present professional proposals and quotations tailored to specific client needs.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through disciplined activity and pipeline management.
- Maintain strong relationships with underwriters and partners to ensure competitive pricing and smooth policy issuance.
- Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes within the Singapore insurance industry.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of sales experience, ideally within the general insurance sector.
- Possession of relevant insurance certifications (BCP, PGI, and ComGI) is highly advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Resilient, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
