As a Business Development Executive (Sales), you will be at the forefront of growth—identifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with contractors, developers, architects, and distributors, and translating customer needs into compelling solutions from our portfolio. You will collaborate with marketing, product, and project teams to tailor proposals, demonstrate value, and close deals that meet client expectations and project timelines. You will also contribute to market intelligence and competitive insights to shape our approach in a dynamic market.
What you'll do: build a healthy sales pipeline, perform outreach through calls, emails, and site visits, prepare persuasive proposals, and present technical explanations of our wall systems. You will negotiate terms, pricing, and service levels, ensuring excellent customer experience while protecting company margin. You will maintain accurate CRM records, forecast sales, and provide regular updates to leadership, with accountability for meeting monthly targets.

Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within Malaysia's construction, contracting, and architectural sectors.
- Build and nurture relationships with contractors, developers, distributors, architects, and consultants to expand our market presence.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process from lead qualification to contract closure, ensuring timely follow-ups and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and present persuasive proposals and product demonstrations showcasing our wall systems and related solutions.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and service levels to maximize revenue while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop targeted campaigns and respond to RFPs and tenders.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, track opportunities, forecast sales, and report on progress against targets.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and project pipelines to identify new growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in construction materials, interior finishes, or building materials.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and delivering results.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence at senior levels.
- Ability to build trust-based relationships with contractors, developers, and technical clients.
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office; comfortable with data-driven selling.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage time and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel within Malaysia and occasionally to project sites as needed.
