Rasa Kari Sdn Bhd is seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to drive growth in the sauce and condiments category. Based in Batu Arang, Selangor, you will be responsible for expanding our market presence, building lasting customer relationships, and delivering measurable sales results. In this role you will own the end-to-end sales cycle—from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing deals. You will collaborate with marketing to craft compelling campaigns, provide market feedback, and ensure timely fulfillment of orders. You will also monitor key metrics, forecast demand, and contribute to strategic planning to expand our brand footprint in the competitive sauces and condiments space.

Travel within the region is expected to build relationships with customers and explore new markets. Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the sauce and condiments sector across retailers, distributors, and foodservice channels.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key accounts to understand their needs and expand product placement.
- Prepare compelling proposals, quotes, and presentations to win new business and secure repeat orders.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to tailor offerings and promote new SKUs.
- Forecast sales, track performance against targets, and report insights for continuous improvement.
- Conduct market research to monitor competitors, pricing, and trends in the Malaysian market.
- Coordinate product launches, trainings, and promotions to maximize visibility and sales.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven sales or business development experience, preferably in FMCG or foodservice.
- Strong network within Malaysia's retailers, distributors, or hospitality sectors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Self-driven, goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office; data-driven mindset with ability to analyze sales metrics.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required.
