Join Informa as the Business Development Manager for Asia, driving the sponsorship strategy and revenue growth for Money20/20 Asia. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on sales execution to expand the sponsor base across the region, delivering high-impact brand activations for fintech, payments, banking, and technology partners. You will own the end-to-end sponsorship lifecycle, from prospecting and pitching to closing deals, while collaborating with Marketing, Operations, and Product teams to ensure sponsor objectives are met and event experiences exceed expectations.
Based in Singapore, you will cultivate relationships with Câlevel executives and regional decision makers, shape compelling sponsorship propositions, and tailor packages to client needs. Your insights into market trends and ROI will help refine Money20/20 Asia offerings and deepen sponsor loyalty, contributing to the eventâs ongoing relevance and growth in a dynamic APAC market.
In this high-visibility role, youâll represent Money20/20 Asia at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, driving pipeline health and revenue growth while maintaining a strong focus on customer success and long-term partnerships. Responsibilities
- Identify and target potential sponsorship partners across Asia for Money20/20 Asia.
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, forecasting revenue and tailoring sponsorship packages to client needs.
- Lead end-to-end deal cycles from outreach and proposals to negotiations and closing.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations to deliver customized activations that drive sponsor ROI.
- Expand the sponsor base across regional markets and deepen relationships with existing sponsors through ongoing account management.
- Represent Money20/20 Asia at regional events and in C-level meetings to secure high-value partnerships.
- Provide post-event analysis, ROI reporting, and insights to sponsors to inform future activations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of B2B sponsorship or enterprise sales experience, ideally within fintech, payments, or events in Asia.
- Proven track record of closing multi-year sponsorship deals with enterprise clients.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong network across financial services, fintech, and payments ecosystems in Asia.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insights into compelling sponsorship propositions.
- Bachelorâs degree; MBA or advanced degree preferred; willingness to travel regionally.
