Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect new clients to grow the contract logistics and freight forwarding client portfolio.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly and annual revenue targets.
  • Engage and build influential relationships with senior decision-makers, logistics directors, and procurement heads.
  • Conduct high-impact sales presentations, develop customized proposals, and negotiate complex service contracts.
  • Collaborate with internal operations and supply chain teams to ensure seamless service delivery for new accounts.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify new business opportunities.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular reporting on business development activities.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of proven experience in hunter-style sales roles within the freight forwarding or contract logistics industry.
  • Deep understanding of global freight forwarding, air/sea freight, and warehousing solutions.
  • Exceptional track record of closing large-scale B2B contracts.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate value propositions to senior management.
  • Self-motivated professional with a resilient mindset and an ability to thrive in a competitive market.
  • Strong network within the logistics sector in Singapore.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
