Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new corporate clients to build a robust pipeline of Ocean and Air Freight business.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to penetrate new industry segments and achieve monthly/quarterly revenue targets.
- Conduct professional sales presentations and negotiate complex service agreements with key decision-makers.
- Collaborate closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery for new accounts.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to refine value propositions.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date CRM database to track all sales activities and progress.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the regional management team.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in B2B business development, specifically within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
- Strong working knowledge of both Ocean and Air Freight operations and market pricing.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with senior-level stakeholders.
- Self-motivated hunter mindset with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales KPIs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide logistics solutions tailored to client needs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team in a dynamic environment.
