Job Description
This role is designed to advance MediaCorp's media analytics and measurement capabilities across its properties. The successful candidate will lead the design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of data-driven insights to inform content strategy, audience engagement, advertising effectiveness, and revenue growth across TV, radio, and digital platforms. As the Business Intelligence Manager, you will partner with product, marketing, technology, and finance teams to translate complex business questions into scalable analytics solutions. You will own the analytics roadmap, standardize KPIs, and govern data quality to ensure consistency across all properties. You will lead the development of self service dashboards, data visualizations, and automated reports that empower stakeholders to make informed decisions. You will mentor a team of analysts and collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to deliver high impact insights. You will stay at the forefront of analytics techniques such as cohort analysis, attribution modeling, forecasting, experimentation, and cross platform measurement to support MediaCorp growth and audience understanding.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the enterprise BI strategy and analytics roadmap for MediaCorp's media properties.
- Design and implement data models, data pipelines, and automated reporting to deliver timely insights on audiences, content performance, and advertising ROI.
- Collaborate with product, content, marketing, sales, and technology teams to translate business questions into actionable analytics and dashboards.
- Establish metrics, data governance, data quality standards, and measurement frameworks for crossâplatform performance analysis.
- Build selfâservice analytics capabilities and executive dashboards to empower stakeholders at all levels.
- Oversee data visualization, storytelling, and communication of insights to drive dataâdriven decision making.
- Mentor and collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and data scientists; manage workloads and deliver projects on time.
- Drive advanced analytics initiatives such as forecasting, attribution modeling, experimentation, and crossâplatform measurement to optimize strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in computer science, statistics, data science or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of BI analytics experience with leadership responsibilities; experience in media or digital advertising is advantageous.
- Strong SQL skills, data modeling, ETL design, and data warehousing experience; familiarity with Snowflake, Redshift, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Proficiency with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent.
- Experience building data pipelines, data governance, and data quality frameworks.
- Solid understanding of audience measurement, advertising metrics, attribution, and crossâplatform analytics across TV, digital, and radio.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and storytelling abilities; comfortable influencing at senior levels.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and scripting for data analysis; able to work in Singapore.
