As the Business Manager, you will be responsible for translating our corporate vision into actionable sales strategies that penetrate the local market and maximize yield for our clients. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth within the Sabah region.
- Direct, manage, and coach regional sales representatives on tactical activities and client engagement techniques.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales tactics proactively.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, distributors, and local agricultural producers.
- Manage the regional sales budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and high ROI on promotional activities.
- Provide regular performance reports and sales forecasts to senior management.
- Conduct field visits to support sales representatives and gather on-the-ground customer insights.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies and local agricultural regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably within the agricultural or agro-chemical sector.
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams.
- Deep understanding of the local agricultural market landscape in Sabah.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable business strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the Sandakan and surrounding regions.
- Proficiency in English, Malay, and local dialects is highly advantageous.
