Job Description

Join Tuas Power Generation Pte Ltd, a leader in Singapore's energy sector, as a Buyer on a 2-year contract basis. We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven procurement professional to support our mission-critical operations in the West Region.

In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and optimizing supply chain efficiency. You will play a pivotal role in managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the seamless delivery of materials and services required for our power generation facilities. Responsibilities

  • Execute end-to-end procurement processes in strict compliance with Tuas Power's policies and procedures.
  • Source and evaluate potential vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers to achieve maximum value for the company.
  • Manage purchase orders and monitor vendor performance through KPIs and service-level agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to identify material requirements and project timelines.
  • Maintain accurate procurement documentation and records in the ERP system.
  • Resolve discrepancies related to invoices, deliveries, and quality issues promptly.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, ideally in manufacturing, energy, or utility sectors.
  • Strong working knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and process improvement.
