Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell ISO 17025 accredited calibration services for pressure, temperature, gas flow, and electrical instruments to new and existing clients across various industrial sectors.
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory sales plan to consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Conduct thorough customer needs assessments and provide expert technical consultation on the most suitable calibration solutions.
  • Prepare accurate sales proposals, competitive quotations, and manage contract negotiations to close deals effectively.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and procurement teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of sales activities, pipeline, and customer interactions using the CRM system.
  • Collaborate closely with the internal calibration laboratory team to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and generate new leads.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical) or a related scientific/technical discipline.
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in B2B sales, specifically within calibration, testing, inspection, or industrial services.
  • Sound knowledge of ISO 17025:2017 standards, metrology principles, and quality management systems is highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets with a hunter mentality and strong closing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision in a field sales environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Possess a valid driving license and own transport with willingness to travel extensively within Johor and surrounding regions.
