Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care pathways, including scheduling appointments, follow-up visits, and specialist referrals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for patients, providing clear information regarding treatment plans and billing inquiries.
- Collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure integrated care delivery.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR) while adhering to strict data privacy and confidentiality standards.
- Monitor patient progress and follow up on missed appointments or non-compliance to ensure continuity of care.
- Handle patient feedback and service recovery processes with professionalism and emotional intelligence.
- Prepare administrative reports and manage operational workflows to improve clinic efficiency.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in clinical administration, patient service, or care coordination.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with diverse patient demographics.
- Proven ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a high-pressure clinical environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
