Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily cargo movements for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, suppliers, and customers to confirm schedules, rates, and service levels.
  • Prepare, review, and submit shipping documents, manifests, bills of lading, airway bills, and customs declarations; ensure compliance with customs regulations and INCOTERMS.
  • Track shipments in the TMS/ERP system, monitor exceptions, and provide proactive updates to stakeholders.
  • Optimize loading plans, space utilisation, and routing to maximise efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Maintain accurate records, perform data entry, and support inventory control and warehouse operations.
  • Resolve shipping issues and coordinate with internal teams and external partners to troubleshoot delays or discrepancies.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in cargo coordination, shipping, or freight forwarding.
  • Knowledge of import/export processes, INCOTERMS, customs procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency with TMS/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and strong data-entry skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
