As a Carpenter on our crew, you will translate design intent into precise woodwork, contribute to project scheduling, and uphold our standards of craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Study plans and specifications to determine project requirements, materials, and sequence of work.
- Measure, cut, shape, join, and install wood components for framing, cabinetry, doors, and trim.
- Install cabinetry, finish carpentry including crown molding, baseboards, casework, and furniture details.
- Prepare and finish surfaces, including sanding, staining, sealing, and applying protective coatings.
- Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades to maintain schedule and quality.
- Inspect assemblies for accuracy and ensure proper fit, alignment, and plumb and level conditions.
- Maintain tools and equipment, enforce safety protocols, and manage jobsite cleanliness.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional carpentry experience; journeyman status preferred.
- Strong proficiency in reading blueprints and construction drawings.
- Skilled in framing, finish carpentry, cabinetry, and door/window installation.
- Proficient with hand tools and power tools; able to operate power saws, routers, nail guns, and measuring devices.
- Excellent math and measurement skills; ability to calculate angles, cuts, and material estimates.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various positions; comfortable on job sites.
- Strong communication, reliability, and teamwork; valid driver's license a plus.
