Responsibilities
- Accurately process manual cash transactions and digital payments at the point of sale (POS).
- Take customer orders with precision, ensuring special requests and modifications are recorded correctly.
- Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to all restaurant patrons.
- Reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure financial accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized counter area to enhance the customer service experience.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
- Assist customers with menu recommendations and provide information regarding current promotions.
- Follow all company safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a healthy dining environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Proven work experience as a Cashier or in a customer service-oriented role, preferably in the restaurant industry.
- Strong basic math skills with high attention to detail for handling cash transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and general cash handling procedures.
- Must be flexible to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and hold a strong sense of personal integrity.
