Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive channel sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key retail partners.
- Negotiate trade agreements, promotional programs, and pricing structures with channel partners to maximize profitability.
- Monitor and analyze channel performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to design and execute joint business plans, in-store promotions, and brand visibility initiatives.
- Conduct regular business reviews with partners to assess performance, address challenges, and align on future goals.
- Manage inventory levels and supply chain coordination to ensure product availability across all channels.
- Provide training and support to channel partners' sales teams to enhance product knowledge and selling capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in channel management, sales, or business development within the FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing indirect sales channels.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in sales data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, CRM).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Willingness to travel within Malaysia for partner meetings and field visits as required.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are a plus.
