Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement nursing strategies, policies, and procedures that align with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee all nursing operations, including inpatient, outpatient, and specialty services, ensuring seamless coordination and quality care delivery.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and retention initiatives for nursing staff across all levels.
  • Direct budget planning, resource allocation, and financial management for the nursing department while optimizing cost‑effectiveness.
  • Champion patient safety, quality improvement, and infection control initiatives, monitoring key performance indicators and driving corrective actions.
  • Foster interprofessional collaboration and act as a liaison between nursing, medical staff, administration, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with good standing in Malaysia.
