Avanta Global Pte Ltd, a distinguished entity backed by the global expertise and infrastructure of TÜV NORD, is seeking a high-caliber Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our executive leadership team. As our COO, you will act as a key partner to the CEO, translating our strategic vision into actionable operational plans. You will oversee cross-functional workflows, enhance organizational efficiency, and ensure that our delivery standards align with the international excellence associated with the TÜV NORD Group. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's long-term business goals and international standards.
- Oversee daily business operations, ensuring high productivity, efficiency, and adherence to company policies.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and board members to identify new business opportunities and market expansion strategies.
- Manage key organizational budgets and financial performance to ensure profitability and resource optimization.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional department heads to foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and professional growth.
- Ensure that all operational procedures comply with global TÜV NORD quality frameworks and local regulatory requirements.
- Analyze performance metrics and market trends to drive data-informed decision-making across the organization.
- Represent the company in high-level stakeholder meetings and strategic partnership negotiations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in senior management roles, with at least 5 years as a COO or Senior Director.
- Proven track record in scaling operations within a regional or multinational environment.
- Strong background in corporate governance, quality management systems (ISO), and process optimization.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience in P&L management, budget forecasting, and operational reporting.
- Excellent communication and strategic planning skills with a results-oriented mindset.
- Experience in the testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) or professional services industry is a significant advantage.
