Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive trade and industry development strategies aligned with regional and national economic goals.
- Analyze market trends, economic data, and industry reports to identify growth opportunities for local businesses.
- Facilitate business matchmaking events, trade missions, and investment forums to connect local suppliers with international markets.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, industry associations, and community stakeholders.
- Oversee the planning and execution of grant programs and financial incentives designed to boost industrial productivity.
- Monitor compliance with trade regulations and evaluate the effectiveness of development programs through rigorous performance metrics.
- Represent the organization in high-level negotiations and public speaking engagements to promote the region’s industrial capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a relevant master’s program is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in trade development, economic planning, or government relations.
- Proven track record of successfully leading strategic initiatives and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret economic data and formulate evidence-based policies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with local and international trade laws, regulations, and economic frameworks in the Philippines.
