We are currently seeking a highly skilled Chinese-English-Tagalog Interpreter to join our dynamic team in Panabo City. In this pivotal role, you will act as the primary communication link, ensuring seamless collaboration between our internal departments and our Chinese-speaking stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional fluency in all three languages and demonstrate high emotional intelligence to navigate complex business discussions effectively.
As an Interpreter, you will play a critical role in facilitating meetings, translating essential documents, and ensuring that communication remains clear, accurate, and professional. We are looking for an individual who is not just a language expert, but a cultural mediator capable of fostering positive relationships within our manufacturing and logistics operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide real-time interpretation services during meetings, negotiations, and site visits.
- Translate technical documentation, emails, and reports between Chinese, English, and Tagalog.
- Facilitate smooth communication between Chinese stakeholders and local operational teams.
- Ensure terminology accuracy in manufacturing and logistics contexts.
- Assist in organizing cross-cultural meetings and workshops to improve team synergy.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethical standards in all communications.
- Prepare written summaries or transcripts of interpreted discussions when required.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in oral and written Chinese (Mandarin), English, and Tagalog is mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, Communication, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an interpreter in a professional or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of business etiquette and cross-cultural communication dynamics.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in technical translations.
- Willingness to be based in Panabo City, Davao del Norte.
