Join DSV Global Transport and Logistics as a Claims Assistant in Parañaque City, Metro Manila. Responsibilities
- Process and track customer claims promptly according to established procedures, verifying accuracy of information and supporting documentation.
- Review shipment records, delivery notes, invoices, and insurance documents to determine liability and reimbursement eligibility.
- Coordinate with operations, finance, and customer service to obtain missing documents and resolve claim inquiries.
- Upload claims data and attach supporting files into the claims management system with meticulous attention to detail.
- Communicate claim outcomes to customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear, professional, and timely updates.
- Maintain accurate claim files and audit trails for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Identify trends in claims, contributing to process improvements and loss prevention initiatives.
- Assist with ad-hoc claims-related projects and support training of new team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in logistics, operations, or business administration.
- 1-3 years of experience in claims processing, logistics, or customer service, preferably in freight forwarding or transportation.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with claims management or ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and trouble-shooting abilities with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of freight terms, insurance requirements, and regulatory compliance related to logistics is a plus.
- Team player with proactive approach and problem-solving skills.
