Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 4 vehicles (LGV/HGV) to transport goods to various destinations.
- Conduct thorough daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks before and after routes.
- Ensure cargo is loaded, secured, and delivered without damage or delay.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and delivery paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and clients regarding schedules and route changes.
- Drive in a professional manner to ensure fuel efficiency and vehicle longevity.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 4 Driver's License (Category C or C1).
- Proven experience as a Class 4 Driver or LGV Driver.
- Clean driving record with no major endorsements or accidents.
- Good knowledge of traffic regulations and safe driving practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
- Physically fit and capable of handling loading and unloading duties.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
